Metaphor and Simile Poems:

Clouds
Clouds are like dreams.
They are the smoothest pillows,
and are as soft as cotton balls.
I think they should be brought down to the ground.
To be used as luxurious beds.
Clouds are candyfloss floating in the sky.

The Darkness
The darkness is haunting.
It’s lurking around every corner,
It is ready to pounce on you like a black panther.
The darkness should be captured in a little box.
It’s ready to give you a shock, and scare the life out of you.
Darkness is a horror movie.

Finished Early!

Morning all,

In our spare time we wrote a short story using our spelling words.

Spelling Level 25.

Yesterday I had my wedding, it was at Buckingham Palace.
The whole community was invited; it was even broadcasted live on Oprah!!!!!
I was carrying a stylish umbrella and had a fancy ribbon in my hair to match my costume.
At the after party I used my secret weapon to put poison in the guests' desert.
I then had to go to prison.

Photography Art

Photography Art

Room 14 have brought in items that mean ‘something special’ to themselves.

Mr. Maclean took our photos and changed us to be black and white but only left the item in colour. We then made a border or frame, that related to the item or what we like doing.

I think it was a really creative idea and I enjoyed it too.
