Kia ora,
We are Room 14 at
Fairfield School in Levin.
Our teacher is new to
our school but has been teaching for a number of years.
We are a Year 7 class
(14 Boys and 10 Girls). We are part of the Senior Team of the school. There are three Year 7 classes and two Year 8 classes. So far this year we have got into
our Recount Writing, Spelling, Cross-group Senior Numeracy, Treaty of Waitangi
Unit, Athletics Coaching, Reading, Technology at Waiopehu College and Health
(Skills for Adolescence).
For Health we based our
Class Treaty around the Principles of Waitangi. We learnt these Principles in a
teacher led Inquiry Unit. The Principles are Protection, Partnership and
Participation.
We now have only three
class Rules;
We will
demonstrate Respect to Ourselves and Others through the Principles:
